Hyvaa paivaa ihmiset, taalla kirjoittelee vaihtelun vuoksi Tea! Janina anto mulle valtuudet kertoa vahan meidan visiitista Barcelonaan.
Saavuttiin Barcelonan satamaan iltaseiteman aikoihin (tunnin myohassa aikataulusta) ja loydettiin yllattavan nopeesti metrotunneliin josta me seikkailtiin meidan hostellille. Kannatti kayda!
Meilla kesti varmaan tunti paasta sinne.
Hups.
Ja koska Barcelonassa oltiin, olihan meidan (tai Janinan, koska ma olin jo kerran siella ollu) pakko nahda Sagrada Familia -kirkko, joska tunnetaan koko kaupungin symbolina. Henkilokohtasesti ma en mitenkaan erityisesti pida koko kirkosta eika menty edes kaymaan siella sisalla, koska viimekertaisen perusteella se ei todellakaan ollu sen arvosta. Myohemmin meille kuitenki selvis, etta se sisapuoli on valmistunu vuosi sitten ja kuulemma tajuttoman upee. Fuck. Lisaa feilauksia oli viel luvassa. Meille tuli kauheen kuuma siella keskipaivan aurigossa, joten paatettiin yksimielisesti lahtea rannalle! Takas hostellille vaan.
Lahtopaiva koitti :( Oli oikeestaan aika jannaa, koska ei tiedetty minne me ollaan menossa. Oltiin lahetetty kolmeen eri kaupunkiin couchsurfing hakemuksia siina toivossa, etta joku vastais jostain pain etela-Espanjaa.

Hello everyone, this time it's Tea writing the text for a change! Janina gave me the authority to tell about our visit to Barcelona.
Our boat arrived to the harbour of Barcelona around 7 pm (one hour too late) and surprisingly fast we found our way to the metrotunnel where we took a merto to our hostel. Though at first we walked pass it cause it was so invisible and easy to ignore... In the inside there were 16 bed dorm waiting for us with two sleeping Japanese. We made ourselves home and went buying some ingredients for a fruit salad; pineapple, half of a watermelon, bananas and some grapefruits. The bowl me made it into was way too small. We didn't want to stay at the hostel for the whole evening so we looked from our guidebook for some place which would be good to see at nighttime and went to this fountain called Font Magica. After getting out of the metrotunnel there was this pathetic looking small fountain in front of us and we we're like "So that's it?". Then we turned around and saw this wonderful road lined with beautiful small fountains and behind them there was this huge colourchanging fountain and a palace, which could have been straight from Aladdin. They arrange a nice light-colour-show there every half an hour and we happened to stop by just on perfect time! I have once visited Barcelona before but I had never seen that one. And it was really worth seeing! Janina took some cool photos and we decided to go look for this Spanish village, which should have been somewhere near. Actually we never found it but some open air cinema instead. After that we went back to our hostel area and because Janina was feeling hungry, we grabbed some stupid sandwich at a restaurant nearby. I was so tired and a drunken hostel owner was trying to make a conversation with us while we were waiting for the food.
On the next day we were planning to go to the Park Guell (the cool mosaic park Gaudi has designed). According to the map it was supposed to be on a walking distance from our hostel so we decided to walk there instead of taking a bus or metro. Once I led us to the wrong direction and we had to climb up this terribly long uphill to get to the park. It must have taken for an our to made it trough. When we finally got there we were sweating like crazy and trying to took some pictures without getting disturbed by the croud of tourists. And thank God the guy who was selling the stamps knew some english!! Spanish people are just like French; "If I speak English, I don't work here" (as this some guy told us in Paris).
After having enought of the park we went to La Rambla, which is a wellknown shopping street in Barcelona. We were amazed by the market place where you could buy for example fruits, meat and candy and watched charmed at some pictures this one artist had hanged at the side of the street. I felt so jealous of his skills, he had drawn some portraits which looked like photos!! Even every single tress was drawn very clearly!! The artist was drawing a portrait of some ungly old woman with too much make-up on there at the street. In the evening we went looking for some buildings designed by Gaudi (Casa Batllo and some other casa which name I never remember) and found ourselves at one other shopping street. During the same day I bought three skirts all in all. Whooops...
And because we were in Barcelona, we (or Janina, because I had already been there once) had to see Sagrada Familia, the symbol of Barcelona. Personally I don't even like the church and we didn't even visit inside because it would't have been worth it accordung to my previous experiences. Actually later we found out that they had finished the building inside and it's very astonishing. Fuck. And there was more failures about to come. We were feeling very hot there under the midday sun so we single-mindedly decided to go to the beach! We changed our bikinis on at the hostel but when we got tho the beach side, the sky was cloudy and it started raining. No can do, back to the hostel...
At the same evening we got to know some other people on the hostel we stayed in; two guys from California, Steven and Daniel. We were chatting there in the kitchen and then went to see some more sightseeings (not the same ones but at the same direction, though). We took some pictures at the metro and then went to different ways. Janina and me were going to look at this park, Finka Guell, where was this amazing gate with iron dragon. For an hour and a half we were wondering around the spot the park was SUPPOSED to be at, but with no results. We were just walking a circle and listening to Pariisin Kevat.
When we were tired of looking for this park we wanted to go get some drinks at the center of Barcelona. Accideltally we got off at the wrong stop, went to the first restaurant we saw and ordered Tequila Sunrise and Sex on the Beach. Oh gosh how strong the drink was!!! They had forgotten to put the sunrise-part to the drink and replaced it with some more tequila. I had to fight to get it down. After getting back to our hostel we hanged at the hostel's lobby till 2 am with those Californian guys we had met before. The man at the reception didn't like us that much.
The day of the departure came :( It was actually pretty exctining as we didn't know where we were about to go next. We had sent some couchsurfing requests in three diffeent cities hoping to get a couch from somewhere in southern Spain. Oh the joy when one guy from Granada accepted our request!! We went to the railwaystation with our new friend Lisa (also from the same hostel) and took Granada as our direction ;) And btw, we got places from the first class with three courses meals.
