First day in blue

After blue academy, we were sent to our destinations. I came to Rhodes, and well, here I am. Usually we have this trainee week, but only after one weekend here I'm sitting in the office, with the blue uniform. It wasn't that bad at all. Just wondering around the pool area and talking to the customers. Well the sun was shining, 26 degrees in the shadow, well hothothot. Just walking slowly and sweating, doesn't happen often in Finland.

At the moment I don't feel so comfortable about my accommodation and it puts me down a little, but I keep hoping they will fix it soon.. I'm sooo tired also all the time. Feel like going to sleep and talk to no-one. And my english sucks, not a surprise when I'm this tired. And my swedish, too. And I'm not sure if I can any finnish either. So communication locked.

Maybe I should keep on drinking more water.. for now, it has usually helped me the most to cheer up. Now off to eat. We have so good food here for the staff. Love it!

Off to something new again

Now we are actually in the Larnaca international airport with Kirsten (others are somewhere), killing time before our flight departures. I can't wait 'till I see where I'm going to live, how the Kolymbia city looks like, I know it's small but anyway. Is someone from the blue academy living near or even in the same building or apartment with me. We'll see. Truly looking forward to it.

Even after a week it seems still so unreal

Busy busy.. We have had school now 5 days but today we had a day off. It meant partying in Agia Napa yesterday with huge group, aching feets because of new high heels and really tired girls coming back home to sleep. We did have some marks of hang overs in the morning :DD

When I left, I dreamed that this would also be a good opportunity to change manners about doing more excercise. We have tried the hotel gym, pools, aerobic, watergymnastic and running byt the beach front by now, and feels reaaalllly good. I'm looking forward for some more. Yay! Today we just relaxed and lyed by the pools sunbathing.

Blue academy is getting every day even more interesting as we get closer to practical stuff. I really want this, and I can't wait 'till we get to Rhodes! :) There is coming so much information every day and all the languages are mixing in my head and it leads that I don't know how to speak at all. Finnish seems to be at the moment only language I can create without pushing hard.

Happy now, listening music from spotify. Electric feel, epic last song, dawn of the dead, kids... Makes me miss last weekend home, but anyway happy to remember it while I'm away. And it haven't hitted me yet that I'm really going to meet the sun almost every day for at least the next six months. Wooow.

First pitch stop, Paralimni, Cyprus

Started travelling early on Monday morning. After 2,5 hours of sleep my alarm clock rang at 5:30 am. Mom picked me up half past six and we headed to the airport. There I met some other finnish future guides. I slept about two hours in a plane and soon we landed to the International Larnaca airport.

It was summer! With long leggings, ''winter shoes'', cardigan, scarf and leatherjacket, 20 celsius degrees felt even warmer than it was!

It's been nice here. It's almost like finnish summer. The view is worth dying and the sea is so nice. Air smells like humid salt. Today it was a bit windy and cloudy, but still nice - especially for some jogging with nice girls!

I live in an apartment hotel room here in Cyprus while the course. There are three other girls living with me, one Finnish Heidi, one from Denmark called Kirsten and one Swedish Matilda. Alla är så härliga och vi har pratat mycket svenska med varanda eftersom alla förstår svenska.. åtminstone bättre än finska eller danska!

The view we saw the first day we arrived. That white bunch of buildings are the Nausicaa beach blue village. So nice breakfast landscape. Love it!

Tää fiilis, tää musiikki, nää ihmiset

Huuiii! Reilu kuuden tunnin päästä istun jo lentokoneessa. Vielä on paljon pientä puuhaa ennen kuin pääsee nukkumaan...

Eilen vietettiin läksiäisiä tropiikki teemalla. Oli kivaa ja teemaankin oli panostettu! Oli kiva nähä monia ihmisiä vielä yhdessä. Ootte parhaita!

Tänään aurinko paistoi, oli ihanan keväinen sää ja muutenkin kiva fiilis. Päivällä kunhan onnistuttiin kömpimään Katrin trooppisesta viidakosta ulkoilmaan, huristeltiin subin kautta rantsuun istuskelemaan. Jätskitki haettiin ja mainonnan uhreiksi jouduttiin. Meijän sokea ystävämme Johannes näki mainoksen Tivolista. Ja ensinhän tuli mieleen et no mitä Vantaalla nyt muka on, kunnes selvisi et puhuttiin ihan oikeasta tivolista. Tuumasta toimeen, parin tunnin päästä Tea oli saatu napattua mukaan ja niin nelistään huristeltiin (Eero oli siis myös mukana menoissa) keravalle tivoliin. Ei aina niin hyvä kombinaatio toi jumitusdarra ja tivoli, mut anyway oli hauskaa!

Katrin kanssa vielä leffaa illalla (katottiin Changeling) ja oli muuten hyvä elokuva! Nyt pitäis sit laittaa vielä viimeiset tavarat pakettiin ja huoh käydä nukkumaan. 3,5 h päästä herätys, ja tässä nyt varmaa menee vielä ennen ku saan unta. Jos saan. Päässä soi Does it offend you, yeah!:n Epic last song ja Dawn of the dead, MGMT:n Electric feel ja Kids, SMG:n Näin minä vihellän matkallani ja PMMP:n Matkalaulu. Näillä on hyvä mennä. Näistä tulee aina mieleen tämä viikonloppu. Ihanaa!

Haikea olo, muutama itkukin pääsi, mutta se ehkä kuuluu asiaan. Haikea, mutta onnellinen olo. Äkkiä mä oon taas täällä lomailemassa ja näkemässä taas kaikkia. Olette mielessäni <3

Huomenna on viimeinen työpäivä. Huomenna alkaa viimeinen viikonloppu. Ylihuomenna on läksiäiset ja ostin tänään kaksi kassillista hedelmiä tropiikkiteemaa varten. Maanantaina on lähtö. !! ... ??. ...

En vaan pysty käsittää et oon lähössä. Huh! Ja kohteenkin sain tietää. 10 päivän Kyproksella pidettävän kurssin jälkeen suuntaan Rhodokselle. Hui!

Toworrom I have my final day at work. Toworrom will start my final weekend before I go. The day after tomorrow there will be held my goodbye party and I bought today two bags of fruits for the tropical theme party. I will leave on Monday. wtf???

I just don't get it. It really haven't yet hit me that I'm truly leaving. They told me my destination, and after 10 days course in Cyprus, I will be sent to the Rhodes island. Woow!

Turhaa

Päivät ovat turhia. Päivät, jotka edeltävät niitä mielenkiintoisia päiviä ovat turhia. Koska ne vain menee odottaessa niitä mielenkiintoisempia päiviä. Saakelin turhat päivät. Ja nyt on juuri sellaisia.

Wings to under the sun

Ten days. I can make it. The snow is falling from the sky. Again. Air is full of white stuff. I dooon't like it. I feel desperate to see the sun again, now when it has shown a little few days. Someone please give me wings so I can fly where there is sunny. Luckily Tui will do it. In ten days.

Nothing goes right, or at least not as planned. Fun though but at the moment it can be a bit frustrating. One does not simply go to Turku..
